WHO SAID SPANIARDS ARE NOT GOOD AT BASEBALL?

Baseball, Battling Cages, Mini-Golf

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you probably already know that Dan is crazy about baseball and pretty much everything related to it.  His birthday was on December, right before our departure to Spain, so my friends and I decided to organize a surprise birthday party for him and went to Sherman Oaks Castle Park to hit some balls and play Mini Golf.  Dan didn’t expect anything (or if he did he is a really good liar), and he couldn’t stop smiling when he saw that all our best friends here in LA were there. I’m so thankful we met them, they make our experience in this city unique and special.

Truth to be told, I am not a big baseball fan, but I have to admit that going to the battling cages was so much fun! I hit 17 balls out of 25… not bad to be the second time I played in my life, isn’t it? And guess who won at Mini Golf too… 😉 I’m a tough cookie, you see.

Fantastic day, with the Magic Castle being the icing on the cake! It is a nightclub for magicians, and you only can go there if a member of the club invites you. This place bills itself as “the most unusual private club in the world.”, so as you can imagine, photos were not allowed (so mad!). It was quite the experience, the magic tricks were mind blowing and the food was delicious. Thanks again Tonja for the invitation! 🙂

Isn’t this place so beautiful? If you are around the area, I strongly recommend you to go and enjoy a fun day with your loved ones. Who knows, maybe you’ll find me there 😉

Happy Wednesday!
