GLAMOUR

Rodeo Drive

What can go wrong on Rodeo Drive on a beautiful sunny Sunday? Even if you can’t afford anything other than your parking fee and an ice-cream (like in my case), it’s still a nice place to walk around. You can feel rich just by being part of the scene, and enjoy feeling like a Hollywood superstar for a day! I have never seen that many Ferraris, Porches and Aston Martins congregated under one place. The street itself is beautiful, the shops have an European architecture style that make them even more unique, and people are so nicely dressed and accessorized everywhere you go.

Truth to be told, I’m not a person who likes to spend money on fancy things or be surrounded by luxury. Honestly, I don’t need a $10,000 Gucci purse to feel rich. But you know? Every once in a while it is fun to step out of your reality and simulate you’re living someone else’s life for a couple hours.

I’ve heard the street is stunning during Christmas holidays, Β when lights and flowers decorate the streets and the stores. I’ll probably go back then to get into the spirit of Christmas, and hopefully score some nice shots.

Have a nice Wednesday!

  1. What a coincidence. I am sitting in Australia right now watching Julia Roberts go shopping on Rodeo Drive RIGHT NOW (in Pretty Woman)! Thanks for following – and good luck with your photography. LA should have lots of good material. High on my bucket list is the architecture tour there to places like the Stahl House. Cheers.
